Our approach to designing gardens is based around a simple philosophy:
A successful garden;
1. Is sympathetic to its surroundings
2. Complements and enhances the house or property
3. Reflects the personality and taste of its owners
Achieving a sense of place is of paramount importance in any garden. There may already be a distinct character to a garden which should be preserved, or it may be that that character or sense of place needs to be introduced.
A sensitivity to the site and to its surroundings is the key to achieving this.
A garden should also be functional and manageable. It should maximise the use and appreciation of outdoor space and in this respect it can be both a financial and aesthetic investment.
A clear understanding of the Client's wishes, requirements and management capabilities is essential for the long-term success and enjoyment of a garden.
